Cayla Ballard, RN, HCA, COS-C, CGCP

Cayla Ballard is a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and our Director of Clinical Services, bringing over 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. With a strong foundation in nursing, she has built a career centered on compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Cayla's role includes directing and managing the interdisciplinary team, meeting the needs of patients and families, and promoting a positive relationship with patients, providers, and other agencies. She also supervises patient and family care, assessing appropriateness, continuity, service, and quality of care.

Known for her empathy and professionalism, Cayla is deeply valued by both patients and colleagues. She appreciates the autonomy, respect, and supportive culture at Principle Choice, sharing, “Every associate is treated as a person - not a number or something disposable. Everyone truly matters here.”

Outside of work, Cayla enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, as well as cooking, traveling, and cheering for the Chiefs and Thunder. Drawing from her background as a ballerina, she brings grace, poise, and discipline to every aspect of her work.
